INVITATION TO ISRAEL – Vs. 1
Israel had fallen because of sin. She was invited to return to God. When we have failed God we are invited to return to Him.
INSPECTION BY ISRAEL – Vs. 2-3
Israel was to examine herself and to confess sin and to renew her faith in God. We also need to examine ourselves and to confess our sin.
INTERVENTION FOR ISRAEL – Vss. 4-8
When there is repentance God intervenes to bless!
INSTRUCTION FOR ALL – Vs. 9
God’s ways are right.
Righteous people walk in the ways of God.
