• This is a story of transformation.
  • Jesus had died. They had seen Him work miracles. They sat under His amazing teaching ministry. They watched Him win argument after argument with his enemies and show mercy to countless healings of body and Spirit.
  • Then Jesus was arrested, received a mock trial, and condemned to die by crucifixion. He suffered a miserable death.
  • Now, Jesus was dead, and their hopes were dashed that He was Israel’s Messiah were gone too!
  • And to make matters worse, after swearing allegiance to Him, Peter publicly denied Him, and the others ran for their lives. They were hopeless!
  • Then Jesus arose from the dead and by appearing to them, and proving He had indeed risen, and indeed the Son of God.
  • Their hopelessness was transformed into hope!
  • If you’ve never felt hopeless, you probably will!
  • If you are feeling hopeless right now, Jesus can transform you’re hopelessness into hope.
  • Whenever we feel hopeless the Lord Jesus is there to transform our hopeless into hope!
