THE SOLUTION REVEALED Vss. 18-23

Jesus explains the parable and shows us 4 different types of ground or heart in which the Word of God is planted. 

  1. The Destitute Ground Vs. 19
  2. The Deleted Ground – Vs. 20-21 – There is not enough depth in the soil to produce properly. A rocky ledge is underneath a little soil on top. There is not enough soil!
  3. The Deceitful Ground – Vs. 22 – The soil looks like good soil, but there are thorns also in the soil.
  4. The Delightful Ground – Vs. 23
