Acts 6:9 – 7:60 – GOD’S FAITHFULNESS, MAN’S REBELLION – The Model Church #13 

Lamentations 3:22-23 – It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. [23] They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 

Deuteronomy 9:24 – Ye have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you. 

  • In what ways is God faithful?
  • In what ways are men rebellious? 

One of the newly appointed “deacons” in the early church was a Godly man named Stephen.  Because of his powerful ministry he was brought up on trumped up charges.  His sermon stresses two important truths.  First, God is faithful.

Second, man is rebellious.
