Psalm 138 – RESTING COMFORTABLY

When someone is in the hospital because of an accident or sickness, his or her condition is often described as “resting comfortably”. The person has been hurt but is now at rest. When we look in to check on our children or grandchildren, we are glad when they are sleeping quietly or resting comfortably.

As Christians we should be resting comfortably. Not that we are asleep, but we are not alarmed or distressed or worried because our confidence is in our God. When we are “resting comfortably” our:
