In this prayer, Paul is praying for God’s people, those who are his because they have the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. When we pray to God for others we are asking Him for what is His to be real in the people who are His!

HIS LORDSHIP – Ephesians 3:14-15 – When we come to God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying for fellow believers, we are bowing the knee or recognizing His Lordship in our lives. We are also recognizing His ownership! We are all His. We should always come with an attitude of praise and thanksgiving. Hebrews 13:15, Colossians 1:12-14

HIS STRENGTH – Ephesians 3:16 – We are asking for the strength of His Holy Spirit to enable each believer.

HIS PRESENCE – Ephesians 3:17 – We are asking for the Lord Jesus Christ to abide in us. See John 15:1-17

HIS COMPREHENSION – Ephesians 3:17-18 – Because each believer abiding in Christ is “rooted and grounded” in love, we asking that believer would comprehend the dimensions of that love.

HIS LOVE  – Ephesians 3:19 – We asking God that each believer would experience the love of Christ that goes beyond all human comprehension.

HIS FULNESS – Ephesians 3:19 – We are asking God for each believer to experience His complete control of God in our lives so that we experience Him in the fullest.

HIS POWER – Ephesians 3:20 – What we trusting God for what is beyond our ability or comprehension. We are praising and trusting God that He can do in us what we cannot do in ourselves.

HIS GLORY – Ephesians 3:21 – We are asking God to manifest His glory through His Son in His people!
