Pastor Jack Peters

Pastor Jack Peters has been a minister of the Gospel since December of 1975. Born in Paterson and raised in Wayne, New Jersey, he graduated from Wayne Senior High School in 1965 and from Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in 1969. He taught school and then went to Viet Nam as a member of the U.S. Army.

As a 16-year-old, Pastor Jack listened to Billy Graham preach the Gospel on the radio, knelt by his bedside, and received the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was born again (John 3:1-18). Later in college he was active in Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship.

On June 10, 1972, Pastor Jack married his wife Dottie. They have three children, Pastor David Peters, Dr. Mark Peters (PhD), and Mrs. Tim (Donna) Spayd. At the moment, they have seventeen grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

After serving as a missionary with Child Evangelism Fellowship for three years, Pastor Peters heeded God’s call to the pastoral ministry. He was ordained at the Calvary Baptist Church in Pitman, New Jersey on January 23rd, 1976. In 1978 he earned a B.S. in Bible from Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University). He has pastored seven Baptist or Bible churches in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania and has been pastor of the First Baptist Church of New Holland, PA since March 1, 2015.

In 1997 Pastor Peters starting using a talent God gave him to help other Pastors. The Sermon Seeds website is his gift to fellow pastors and Bible teachers around the world.
