Jeremiah 6:16-17 – LET’S DO WHAT ISRAEL DIDN’T DO!
Israel was often a disobedient nation.
God sent prophets, such as Jeremiah to bring Israel back to Himself.
Israel would not listen.
Right now, God is calling us as Christians back to Himself.
To have revival, we need to do what Israel didn’t do.
ASK – …ask for the old paths, where is the good way…
ACT – …and walk therein…Hearken to the sound of the trumpet
(God’s preachers are the watchmen, sounding the trumpet.)
ACCOMPLISH – …and ye shall find rest for your souls.
AVOID (ignoring God like Israel did.) – But they said, we will not walk therein… But they said, we will not hearken.
