Proverbs 30:24-28 – LEARNING FROM THE ANIMALS
These small animals have much to teach us.
I CAN BE PREPARED LIKE AN ANT – Vs. 25
Just as an ant is prepared for winter, I can be prepared for any situation, when I learn and heed the Word of God. Matthew 7:24-27
I CAN BE PROTECTED LIKE A CONEY (ROCK BADGER) – Vs. 26
The Coney hides in the rocks. I can hide in the Lord as my rock. Psalm 27:4-5, Psalm 18:2
I CAN PARTICIPATE LIKE A LOCUST – Vs. 27
The locust is often part of a swarm. Locusts operate as a team. I have a team of which I am a member. It is called the church, or the family of God. God has called me to participate on His team. Hebrews 10:24-25, Ephesians 2:10
Although the locust has no king, we serve the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Colossians 1:18
I CAN POSSESS LIKE A SPIDER – Vs. 28
A spider (lizard) can possess a king’s palace, but does not deserve to be there.
I possess Heaven if my faith is in Christ. And I don’t deserve to be there! John 14:1-6
