It is a good thing to have role models. A good role model will encourage us to do things that are right and Spiritual. Two men who are good role models for us as men are Enoch and Noah. It is said of them that they “walked with God”. Although we need to look at other Scriptures to see exactly what that entails, they provide us with the motivation to do the same.
WHO WERE THESE GUYS?
Genesis 5:24 – And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Hebrews 11:5 – By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Genesis 6:8-9 – But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
