Proverbs 2:1-5 – KNOWING GOD
The goal of our lives should be Vs. 5. We should want to understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. To achieve this goal:
LET GOD’S WORD INTO YOUR HEART – Vs. 1, Psalm 119:11
LISTEN TO GOD’S WORD – Vs. 2a – incline your heart towards wisdom
LEARN GOD’S WORD – Vss. 2b, 3 – Apply the heart to understanding and cry out for knowledge.
LOOK FOR GOD’S WORD – Vs. 4 – Look for God’s Word as you would for treasure.
