“WAIT” – GREAT BIBLE WORDS

WAIT CONTINUALLY
Psalm 25:5 – Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Hosea 12:6 – Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually.

WAIT COURAGEOUSLY
Psalm 27:14 – Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

WAIT PATIENTLY
Psalm 37:7 – Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

WAIT EXCLUSIVELY
Psalm 62:5-6 – My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him. [6] He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

WAIT INTENSELY
Psalm 123:2 – Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

WAIT EXPECTANTLY
Psalm 130:5-6 – I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. [6] My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

Lamentations 3:25-26 – The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. [26] It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

WAIT VICTORIOUSLY
Isaiah 40:31 – But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

WAIT HOPEFULLY
Galatians 5:5 – For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

WAIT UPWARDLY
1 Thessalonians 1:10 – And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
