1 Kings 19:16, 19, 2 Kings 2:1-14 – STEADY IN PREPARATION
LIFE OF ELISHA, THE STEADY PROPHET – #1 of 9
SERIES INTRODUCTION:
There was a changing of the guard. The job of prophet was being based from Elijah to Elisha.
There was a change in personalities. Elisha had a fiery personality. Elisha, as a friend of mine once said (Bob Smith of Sweet Valley, PA), was “steady”.
There was no changing on God’s part. Times change, leaders change and situations change. God does not change. Malachi 3:6

You may find that there is so much material here that you will want to present it in two sermons.
