Psalm 30:4-5

GIVE THANKS

Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

GOD IS HOLY - and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

GOD IS IN CONTROL - For his anger endureth but a moment;

GOD IS LIFE - in his favour is life:

GOD IS HOPE - weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Psalm 30:4-6

PATH TO JOY

God has intended that we Christians would be a joyful people (Nehemiah 8:10, Philippians 4:4).

We will be joyful as we follow David's admonitions in these verses.

COMMAND PERFORMANCE - Vs. 4 - "Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness."

COMFORTING PROMISES - Vs. 5

1. "For his anger endureth but a moment;"

2. "in his favour is life:"

3. "weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

CONFIDENT PROCLAMATION Vs. 6 - "And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved."
