A BALANCED LIFE

When we practice these principles in Psalm 27 we will have a balanced Christian life.

ABSENCE OF FEAR - Vss. 1-3

When the Lord is our light, our salvation, and our strength, we have nothing to fear.

ASPIRATION TOWARDS GOD - Vss. 4, 8

Seeking the face of God is to be a priority in our lives.

ASSURANCE OF PROTECTION - Vss. 5-6, 10

APPEAL FOR HELP - Vss. 9, 11-12

When in trouble ask for the Lord's help.

ACCEPTANCE OF WAITING - Vss. 13-14

Instead of being discouraged, we are willing to trust the Lord and wait on Him.

We accept the fact that waiting on the Lord is part of the Christian life.

Psalm 27

Psalm Of Trust

Psalm 27 has been a favorite of mine from college days.  There was a time when my parents did not understand my new found faith in Christ.  At one of these times my pastor shared this Psalm with me.  It has been a help ever since!

MY CONFIDENCE Vss. 1-6

MY CRY Vss. 7-12

MY CALM Vss. 13-14

You might want to substitute the word "my" with the word "David's".

There's lots of gold in these verses. Enjoy digging for it!
