MARK 14

4 Outlines

Mark 14

FORSAKEN

During a great trial, there is probably nothing sadder than being forsaken, or left alone by friends and loved ones. Jesus was forsaken by his closest friends as He began to face the cross.

JESUS FORSAKEN EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY - Vss. 33-42 - Instead of watching in prayer with Jesus, Peter, James, and John fell asleep.

JESUS FORSAKEN PHYSICALLY - Vss. 43-50 - The disciples all forsook Him and fled.

JESUS FORSAKEN VERBALLY - Vss. 66-72 - Peter denied his Lord three times.

Do we, as Christians, ever forsake Jesus emotionally, spiritually, physically, or verbally?
