MY LIFE

This story about Jesus healing the blind man also teaches me some lessons about my life.

GOD HAS A PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE - Vss. 1-3, 5

God's purpose for this blind man was that God would be revealed in him.

God also wants to reveal His Son through me. John 10:10

GOD HAS A PLAN FOR MY LIFE - Vss. 4, 6-7

Jesus said that He was to work the works of God. Hebrews 10:7

That is God's plan for my life as well. I am simply to do God's will. Romans 12:1-2

God's plan for the blind man was to give him his sight. That was unique.

God's plan for me is also unique, just for me.

GOD WANTS A PROCLAMATION FROM MY LIFE - Vss. 8-11

Just as this man proclaimed what Christ had done, I am also to proclaim what Christ has done for me. Psalm 107:2

John 9:4

ON TIME

We all have the same amount of time each day.

As Christians we should use it wisely by serving Christ.

We should follow the example of Jesus.

YOU HAVE A JOB - OBLIGATION

"I must work the works of him that sent me."

Walking - Ephesians 4:1-3, Ephesians 5:2, John 13:34-35

Working - Matthew 5:16, Ephesians 2:10

Witnessing - Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Peter 3:15

DAY IS HERE - OPPORTUNITY

"...while it is day."

Now is the time that we have to work for Christ.

We need to labor for him while we are still able. Ephesians 5:15-17

NIGHT IS COMING - OUTLOOK

"the night cometh when no man can work."

Each of us have a certain amount of time.

There will be a day when it will be all over and every Christian will stand accountable to God.

Ephesians 5:10

Every unbeliever will also stand accountable to God. Revelation 20:11-15

"Only one life, twill soon be past. Only what's done for Christ will last."
