Hannah cared enough to cry out to God for help. If we don't care

about our problems, we won't cry out to God.

PROMISES, PROMISES

 

Hannah, who was barren asked God for a child, promising to dedicate the child to the Lord.

Eli the priest promised Hannah that her fervent prayer for a child would be answered. She went away, believing. Vss. 8-18

 

A PROMISE FULFILLED Vss. 19-20

Samuel was born.

 

A PROMISE NURTURED Vss. 21-23

She weaned the child, nurturing him physically and, no doubt, spiritually.

 

A PROMISE KEPT Vss. 24-28

She brought the child to the Lord. He was lent to the Lord as Hannah had promised.
